Tsuga have great abilities to work in treating rheumatoid arthritis, cough and cold as well as respiratory ailments. It also acts as a cleanser of blood and cures kidney diseases.

It is used only for aromatherapy or aromatic applications and is usually applied over the skin for topical benefits. 

·         History and Additional Information

The essential oil of tasuga basically is extracted from an evergreen tree that is commonly found in Native America. It gives small needle like structures that are scattered on the ground. The tree is long in height and tapers from the top in pyramid shape. The bark and leaves of the tree are used in producing tea and other products.
The oil from tsuga is procured from steam distillation of needles and twigs of tree.
