Superman has been a renowned action figure and a popular comic book hero in the past and still rests in the hearts of many people. Children and teens alike, Superman has been a long time craze among all. One such crazy fan is Herbert Chavez who resides in Philippines. This 35 year old man is extremely obsessed with his favorite action figure and claims that have done multiple plastic surgeries to get him look like Superman. Since 1995, Herbert has undergone 19 cosmetic surgeries from a nose job, chin augmentation for that iconic gap, silicone lip injections to make them appear visibly red and then thigh implants too.
But this is not the extent to his
fascination. He also homes a number of Super man’s collection of comic books,
dresses, comic figures, life size statues, linen, curtains and diverse posters
hanging on his wall and covering his entire room. Superman’s serious fan Herbert
lives in the south of the capital: Manila in Calamba City. A physiatrist tells
the news report that he might have Body Dysmorphic Disorder that urges one to
undergo plastic surgery often or he might fancy bringing about cosmetic changes
to his body.
