BANKSTOWN


Introduction:
In the state of the south Wales in Australia is a suburb i.e. Bankstown. 20 km in the south west of the central Sydney business district, it is located. Its population is almost 26,000. The town was established in the 1795. Georges; river national park and its large areas are included in the city of the Bankstown city. Queen Elizabeth 2, during her visit in 27th of may 1980 the town was awarded the status of the city.
Economy:
The town is the major seat for industries like engineering; aviation and maintenance at the town’s airport.
Further type of the employers may include the small business operations; retail industry and the public service.
Centro Bankstown is the large shopping center and was first opened in 1966 and has expanded. The very shopping mall is also offering lots of job opportunities.
The very town is a growing center for the different business opportunities in the Sydney.
The commercial areas of the town are clustered around the town’s railway station.
Recreation:
Major parks famous in the town include: McLeod reserve; Paul Keatings Park and etc. city gardens were opened in 1973 for the public and contains lots of unusual types of flora.
Hence the town is a providing with good deal of business and recreation opportunities.
